After a night of bar-hopping a Johnson City woman is killed when the vehicle she was a passenger in drove off of a road and into a lake. According to the Kingsport Times-News the three victims were driving along a lake road when the driver turned to talk to the deceased victim who was in the back seat of the vehicle as he entered a curve in the road. The vehicle drove off the road and into the lake. The driver and another passenger got out of the vehicle and were not seriously injured.
