Nashville Car Crash Lawyer Reports That God Works In Mysterious Ways

Drugged Teen Driver

As an experienced Tennessee personal injury lawyer I have seen many interesting and some disturbing things happen when people get behind the wheel of a motor vehicle under the influence of drugs and alcohol. Reference the recent case of a 19-year-old Greenville Tennessee man who was driving under the influence of some sort of pills on a recent Sunday night. For some unknown reason he crashed his car into a church.

The congregation was gathered and in prayer when the wigged out young man drove his car into the church building. But, as we know, God works in strange ways. The Pastor was quoted in local media sources as saying,  “I don’t believe it was an accident that he ended up in our church parking lot. It was a blessing that it was here and not on the street with another vehicle, or into a home.“  Rev. Fox expects to visit with the young man, and he hopes his community can help turn the boy’s life toward spirituality.

Alcohol and/or drugs and driving do not ever mix. Every day, 36 people in the United States die, and approximately 700 more are injured, in motor vehicle crashes that involve an alcohol and drug-impaired driver. The annual cost of alcohol and drug-related crashes totals more than 51 billion dollars. But there are effective measures that can help prevent injuries and deaths from alcohol-impaired driving, education is an important tool and enforcement with stiff penalties is critical to changing the drinking driving culture that has developed in our country.
